Bullet Raja Struggles, Ram Leela Solid

Bullet Raja could not make much impact on day one as it grossed around 6.50 crore nett. The film had fair collections in UP and Rajasthan but could not do much elsewhere. Mumbai circuit was dull with collections just a little higher than Delhi/UP when normally it should be 50% higher.
The film did not perform at multiplexes as the collections were not upto the mark for its release, single screens were also below par apart from some cities in UP and Rajasthan.
The film will find it tough going over the weekend and with normal trending weekend trending it may just go a little over 20 crore nett. To have a respectable weekend figure the film needs good growth on Saturday and Sunday.

Movie Reviews; Bullett Raja (2013) *Saif Ali Khan - Sonakshi Sinha*

Directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia Produced by Rahul Mittra, Nitin Tej Ahuja, Tigmanshu Dhulia Starring: Saif Ali Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Jimmy Shergill, Chunky Pandey, Ravi Kishan, Gulshan Grover, Vidyut Jamwal Music by Sajid-Wajid (Read our music review here).
CNN IBN: Reviewed by Rajeev Masand: Up until the halfway mark, Bullett Raja is rollicking entertainment. Our gangster protagonists kill, maim, kidnap, and intimidate their rivals, all the while bickering and joking, in Dhulia's direct nod to Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Sadly the film's screenplay comes undone post intermission, its second half disintegrating into a bloody revenge saga. I'm going with two-and-a-half out of five for Tigmanshu Dhulia's Bullett Raja. With a tighter script and an uncompromising vision, he might've knocked this one right out of the park. At the moment though, it's an easy but forgettable watch. Salman Khan's Jai Ho does not need promotions: trade experts

This year is going to end without a single release by mega superstar Salman Khan, though he has had his share of reality television. His next, directed by his brother Sohail Khan, is scheduled to release on January 24, 2014. But surprisingly enough, not even first look, poster or teaser is out. Which means — by Bollywood pre-release promotion norms — the film is running late, considering the fact that all big films run huge pre-release promotions. Have a look at other big films promotions: First look poster of Chennai Express was released in January, it means six months prior to film’s release. Then the movie was promoted extensively two months before release. YRF released a motion poster of Dhoom 3 in August and film is scheduled to release at the end of December this year. Promotional activities of Dhoom 3 are presently on.Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani released its first look in February 2013. The film released on May 31.Before the extensive two-month promotions of Krrish 3, they released …

Priyanka Chopra has hottest legs in Bollywood

10,000 voted for Priyanka Chopra in a recent health poll to bag her the title of the Hottest Legs in Bollywood. Priyanka Chopra, earlier this year, was also tagged with the Sexiest Back in B-town.
The actress is well-known for her sporty, smart and party looks, recently spotted at an award ceremony wearing a red dress which showed off her well-toned legs. Talking about the accolade, Chopra told Deccan Chronicle, “I am flattered to be conferred with the title! The credit for this goes to my gene pool , my trainers and high heels”.

Deepika Padukone bagged no.2 position with slightly less votes.

Kareena Kapoor got 3rd position. Surprizingly, Katrina Kaif was not in top 3, she was no. 4.

Bullett Raja; Box Office Predictions

Saif Ali Khan is all set to have a blast at Indian Box office tomorrow with Bullett Raja. Sonakshi Sinha is playing female lead in the film and talented Jimmy Shergill is also in the film. We have Tigmanshu Dhulia as the sailor of this ship who has earlier directed some cult classics like Haasil, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster  and Paan Singh Tomar.
The trailer of the film has clicked well with the audience and the film has created a lot of buzz. Title track of the film and Tamanche Pe Disco are popular among masses. Read our music review here.

The target audience of the film is masses. But if the content is really good, it can have a good run at multiplexes also. If Bullett Raja performs well at Multiplexes then chances are good that it may emerges as one of the biggest hits of 2013. But Bullet Raja can find it tough at box office as its a UP gang crime film and this restricts the business like the Mumbai gang crime films. Here the risk is even more as with the Mumbai ones you have chances in…

Gori Tere Pyaar Mein is Disaster, Ram Leela nearing 100 Crore

Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela is nearing the 100 crore nett mark with collections of 89 crore nett approx in ten days. The second weekend collected around 15 crore nett with a huge 7.5 crore nett coming in Mumbai circuit. The film was ahead of Gori Tere Pyaar Mein in all circuits across India and ahead of Singh Saab The Great In Mumbai, West Bengal and South. The film was taken off screens in UP on Friday due to a ban though now it has started to be screened again.
The film will hit the 100 crore nett mark in its third weekend and should probably go and finish in the 105-110 crore nett range and although the profits may not be huge due to the high buddget it is still a huge number since the director has many big flops before Ram Leela and the male lead has had no major hit before.

Gori Tere Pyaar Mein & Singh Saab The Great take dull start, Ram Leela Steady!

Gori Tere Pyaar Mein had very poor collections of 2.50 crore nett approx on day one and did poor all over. The film failed to perform well at Multiplexes despite of decent release rate. The film was released in a total of more than 1650 Screens.
The circuit figures were dull over with Delhi/UP collecting just 60 lakhs nett approx and East Punjab just 20 lakhs nett and when these two circuits don't perform for multiplex film like Gori Tere Pyaar Mein then the film has no chance. Most of the business were from Ghaziabad and Faridabad. Film performed just fine at Kerala, Chennai and Nizam. The collections from CP-Berar, CI and Mysore were very poor.
The trend is very negative and the film now needs a huge turn around to attain decent status which is highly unlikely.
