Jai Ho; Decent Monday - Set For A Good First Week

Jai Ho had decent figures on Monday of around 9 crore nett as per early estimates. The film needed a bigger Monday to get towards that 150 crore nett total but 9 crore nett although not excellent, is reasonable and less than 50% drop from Friday.

Jai Ho has now grossed around 67 crore nett in four days which is fair. The total for the week should go between 85-90 crore nett and should cross the 100 crore mark on Saturday (second weekend). There are no major release in this weekend, so Jai Ho will continue to be the first choice.

The film held up best in Mumbai circuit with Gujarat remaining strong. Also the film has a decent trend and has actually been let down by the opening. The figures on Sunday and Monday are better comparatively better than the numbers of Friday and Saturday. The film has limited competition on Friday so can put up healthy figures in week two.

Jai Ho has grossed less on Monday than the big Salman Khan grossers like Ek Tha Tiger, Dabangg 2 and Dabangg. The collections are a bit better than his other big grossers Bodyguard & Ready. Have a look below:

1. Ek Tha Tiger - 18,96,00,000 (Holiday)
2. Dabangg 2 - 11,43,00,000
3. Dabangg - 10,68,00,000
4. Jai Ho - 9,00,00,000 approx.
5. Bodyguard - 8,64,00,000
6. Ready - 8,03,00,000
