Bollywood Hungama (Taran Adarsh):SHAADI KE SIDE/EFFECTS is more about rediscovering your partner, post marriage. The fact that Saket borrows from real-life instances makes it relatable and identifiable. The connect is tremendous, with the spectator often drawing parallels with his/her life. On the whole, SHAADI KE SIDE/EFFECTS is a delicious take on contemporary relationships. This one's relatable, heart-warming, amusing and thoroughly enjoyable! Rating 3.5/5 Times Of India (Madhureeta Mukherjee):
The director strikes a fine balance between humour and emotion in this slice-of-marriage story. The first half takes a while to catch up, but the dialogues (Arshad Sayed) provide ample laughs, while giving wisdom for wedded bliss. Vir Das in his funky avatar is a riot. Vidya is …

Shaadi Ke Side Effects; Average Opening

Farhan Akhtar & Vidya Balan starrer Shaadi Ke Side Effects has taken a slow start at the domestic box office on Friday with collections around the 25-30% mark on its first morning.
The opening was best in Delhi NCR as some multiplexes registered around 35% occupancy. The initial is not good but also not too bad and growth over the day can help it to a reasonable first day figure though single screens and smaller cities have the expected dull response.
If the growth in business is similar to Hasee Toh Phasee and Highway, Shaadi Ke Side Effects is likely to collect around 5.5 crore on its opening day. But if evening / night shows show better growth, then the film could touch / cross the 6 crore mark. The Asia Cup cricket match between India and Sri Lanka could have an impact on business too.

Salman Khan's Selfless Act Made Jai Ho An Underperformer, Says Trade Analysts

When we wrote the reasons behind Jai Ho's underperformance (Here), we didn't mention the 'ticket price'-factor because we were not so sure about that. But now, the reports are emerging that 'ticket price' had a big impact on Jai Ho's collections. DNA India reported today that the footfalls don’t reflect in the box-office figures of Jai Ho because the tickets prices of Jai Ho were far lower than the other films of last year that crossed the Rs200-crore mark — Chennai Express and Dhoom 3.
It was reported before the release of 'Jai Ho' that Salman Khan tried to control ticket prices and now it seems that those reports were true. The selfless Khan didn’t want his fans to pay exhorbitant prices to watch his film, so he told Eros (the producers and distrubutors) not to increase the ticket prices. Also, since the film has a social message, he wanted everyone be able to see it.
A source told DNA India, "After the film released, a close friend of Salman…

The entire road, mountains and every conceivable place possible was packed with a very enthusiastic crowd. And there were deafening rounds of claps and cheers... even as Aamir strode up to the podium to greet his admirers. Incidentally, never before had such a crowd gathered in a small town for any actor…

Sunny Leone shoots in a snake-filled lake

Ragini MMS - 2, the forthcoming horror-erotica film, contains a horror-packed scene shot inside a lake. The scene took an entire night to shoot and Sunny fell ill the following day and developed a minor skin allergy.
"I saw dead fish. The water was dirty," said Sunny. "I was scared as hell," she added.
The lake was in Vasai on the outskirts of Mumbai, in a scary and quiet location. The said scene had to be shot at midnight when the water was cold, so as to get the desired effect. Sunny had to dip into the water to give her best shot but was petrified because the lake was quite a walk from her vanity van. There was also talk of water snakes.

1- Suno Na Sangemarmar - (Arijit Singh): A beautiful romantic track and who can sing a romantic song better than Arijit Singh? Suno Na Sangemarmar is the Hindi adaptation of Ki Kore Toke Bolbo from the Bengali movie Rangbaaz. Arijit Singh sounds beautifully and it feels that this song is made only for Arijit Singh. Arijit-fans are going to love this one. Lyrics are nicely written. Rating 4/5

2- Mere Khuda - (Shiraz Uppal): This track is composed and sung by talented Pakistani music composer Shiraz Uppal, who has worked with music maestro A. R. Rahman also. 'Mere Khuda' is based on generic Pakistani pop tunes, though arrangement here is more clear and beautiful. This is a beautifully comp…
