Valentine's Day Special; Bollywood Stars And Their First Celeb Crush

We all grew up watching Bollywood films, so did Bollywood current stars. We all have had our first crush in our school days and our Bollywood stars are no different. As long as you have got a normal life, you are bound to have crushes which gradually fade away. Chances are that first crush of current Bollywood stars was a popular face from Bollywood films.

Let's find out about the actors and their crushes who caused their hearts to skip a beat.

Shraddha Kapoor:
"I have always had a big crush on Hrithik Roshan, ever since Kaho Na Pyaar Hai (2000) released. As a matter of fact, I still have a huge collection of his photographs that I had collected back in the day."

Daisy Shah:
"I worked with my first crush... Salman Khan."

Shahid Kapoor:
During a recent chat show, Shahid had mentioned that his first Bollywood crush was actor Raveena Tandon. He was smitten by her after he saw her dance in the song ‘Tip tip barsa paani’ from Mohra (1994).

Salman Khan:
"Hema Malini is my first crush. In fact, I had also asked Katrina Kaif to follow Hemaji’s footsteps.. yeah!”

Arjun Kapoor:
"My first crush was Kareena (Kapoor Khan). When I met her for the first time,  I realised that she looks even better without make-up. However, there was no one reason why I had a crush on her. She has just always been a spectacular woman."

Sameera Reddy:
"My first crush was Salman Khan. Yes, for which I watched MAINE PYAR KIYA 16 times. I was at an age when you don't know what love and infatuation is all about. I used to come back from school, throw my bag and sit and watch his film. My family was fed up with me. As he was a family friend, once my parents surprised me by inviting him on my birthday. I was so excited that I dressed up in a glittery velvet gown. But finally when I met him, I was speechless as he charmed me. He was his usual self and treated me like a kid."

Imran Khan:
"I had a massive crush on Juhi Chawla when she was working in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988) with Aamir (Khan, Imran’s uncle). I had even proposed to her during the shooting of the movie. It wasn’t just a random proposal — it was one with a ring and all that jazz."

Sophie Choudry:
"I think that would have to be Salman Khan! He hates me saying that... in fact he hates all young girls saying that they had a crush on him since school, although I’m hoping he secretly likes hearing it!! I went to a very posh all girls school in London where there was only a handful of Indian girls. All the English girls used to have pictures of Western popstars but I had a photo of Salman in my desk. I used to refuse to go to school without seeing one of his songs. I was a kid and didn’t even know what a crush was, but clearly Salman was my first crush!"

Ayushmann Khurrana:
"Preity Zinta was my school-time celebrity crush. My friend used to have her poster in his room, even though it was considered uncool to flaunt actors’ poster on your wall. She was also the first celebrity I had interviewed live on TV. It was quite surreal."

Preity Zinta:
Preity shared on "Up, Close and Personal With PZ" in 2011 that she had the biggest crush on Salman, and that she was so upbeat about watching Salman's blockbuster "Dabangg" that she went in a burqa to watch it.

Shah Rukh Khan:
“My first two crushes have been Mumtazji and Sairaji. Now I address them with a 'ji'. I always felt that they were the most beautiful ladies in the world. My father used to find Madhubalaji very beautiful."

Sonakshi Sinha:
“When ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ released, I was in the seventh standard and went mad. The whole nation did."

Chitrangada Singh:
“There are a lot of actors whom I admire. SRK is my first crush since Fauji days and I would love to work him.”

Somy Ali:
"I enjoyed watching Hindi films in America as they were reminiscent of my life in Pakistan. It was not until I had watched Maine Pyar Kiya (1989) that I decided I had to be in the films to meet my first crush (Salman Khan). It was completely illogical of course but not too absurd considering I was only 15."

Amrita Arora:
"I had a crush on Akshay Khanna but I never expressed it. In fact, when I joined the film industry I came to know that he is a very serious person so I never went ahead and told him what I felt."

Happy Valentine's Day!
