Music Review; Bhoothnath Returns (2014) *Amitabh Bachchan - Boman Irani*

Director: Nitesh Tiwari
Cast: Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Anurag Kashyap & Parth Bhalerao
Music Director: Ram Sampath (Track #2,4,5,7), Meet Bros Anjjan & Palash Muchhal (Track #1,6) & Yo Yo Honey Singh (Track #3)
Lyricist: Kumaar (Track #1), Kunwar Juneja (Track #2), Yo Yo Honey Singh (Track #3), Munna Dhiman (Track #4), Nitesh Tiwari (Track #5)

1- Party To Banti Hai - (Meet Bros Anjjan & Mika Singh): A peppy number full on energy and fun. Music is composed by young Palash Muchhal and he has done decent job. The song is not great, but listenable. It suits the Amitabh Bachchan style of dance. Hook line is quite catchy and the ‘Is Hi Baat Pe’ is quite innovative. Mika Singh and Meet Bros Anjaan have done reasonably good job behind the mic. The lyrics are fun. Rating 2.5/5

2- Har Har Gange - (Aman Trikha): A political and social satire. Bhangra infused sounds which have been Ram Sampath's speciality, work big time. But the main attraction is Aman Trikha's vocals and singing. He owns the song completely and does complete justice to this upbeat tune. The track might not be the major hit because of theme of the song, but will earn respect for lyricst and singer. Rating 3.5/5

3- Party With Bhoothnath - (Yo Yo Honey Singh): A typical Yo Yo Honey Singh track. If you are a Honey Singh fan, go for it. For all others, you can still give it a try. The composition is quite catchy and has some really good beats. Lyrics which are penned by Honey Singh himself, has nothing to talk about. Rating 3/5

4- Sahib - (Rituraj): A semi-sufi and quite emotional track. Opens with beautiful piano sounds. The song has some progressive rock elements and contains some beautiful sounds of flute, guitar and drums. Sung immensely well by Rituraj, perfect choice. Lyrics are really good. Rating 3.5/5

5- Dharavi Rap - (Parth S. Bhalerao & Anish): A rap track sung by kids Parth S. Bhalerao and Anish. Parth S. Bhalerao is the child star of the film. It is a chorus presentation on social satire in Bollywood. A very good effort on Parth’s part and he deserves praise for being courageous enough to sing for the film, in addition to starring in it. Rating 3/5

6- Party To Banti Hai (Remix) - (Meet Bros Anjjan, DJ Kiran, Abhi-Shree & Mika Singh): Nothing special. If you are under 16, you may end up liking it. Otherwise, skip it. Rating 1.5/5

7- Har Har Gange (Remix) - (Aman Trikha): It has some good beats, but still the original is much better. Rating 2/5
