Music Review; O Teri (2014) *Pulkit Samrat*

Director: Umesh Bist
Cast: Pulkit Samrat & Bilal Amrohi
Music Director: Gj Singh (Track #1,2,3,5), Hard Kaur (Track #4)
Lyricist: Kumaar (Track #1,2), Abhinav Chaturvedi (Track #3,5) & Manish J. Tipu (Track #4)

1- Butt Patlo - (Jaspreet Jasz & Roshni Baptist): After 'Tooh' (Gori Tere Pyaar Mein). it's 'Butt' time. A energetic and peppy punjabi track with lot of youth-ish touches like techno sounds. A full on masti and dancing track. The song has every ingredient to make it a chartbuster. Roshni Baptish has not much to do except rendering her vocals at the start of the track which sounds really beautiful. Rest of the track is carried by Jaspreet Jasz who has done his job amazingly. Rating 3.5/5

2- Akhan Vich - (Gj Singh, Jaspreet Jasz & Neeti Mohan): Starts with English notes which sound good but as soon as Hindi part starts, the track feels flat. Though arrangements are good and have a youth-ish feeling, but the song fails to make an impact. Neeti Mohan's vocals sound so beautiful. All the singers have done reasonably good job. Lyrics are not bad. Rating 2.5/5

3- Ummbakkum - (Mika Singh, Iulia Vantur & Jaspreet Jasz): The song which features Salman Khan's alleged girlfriend Iulia Vantur, both behind the mic and in front of camera. The song starts with a lot of promises but fails to impress in the long run. Except singers, who have done their job perfectly, everything in the song is average, be it music composition, lyrics, arrangements. Rating 2/5

4- Phollo Karta - (Manish J. Tipu): The stars of the song is quite funny. It is pity that Hard Kaur has not rendered her vocals to the only track she composed in this soundtrack. Composition is good and gives a traditional feeling. Impressive music arrangements, but perhaps not suitable for this kind of track? One thing is sure, you are not going to keep it on repeat. Rating 2.5/5

5- Ummbakkum (Remix) - (Mika Singh & Jaspreet Jasz): The remix version is as good or bad as the original song. Rating 2/5
